Introduction: This is the way 'configure' was run to compile the ExtSQL server. We normally use the recommended MySQL/PostgreSQL settings except where noted. IMPORTANT - Our automated build/test environment allows us to create new versions based on unique configure settings fairly easily. If you have some specific options you would like to see, please submit your configuration.

Unique Details for this Item: Not a real configuration, just a placeholder for build combinations that have yet to be configured.

This configure option is called the Generic Placeholder. There is no real configure script associated with this. It is designed to provide a default option when selecting a new combination of ExtSQL version, OS, and Architecture. Once a new combination of ExtSQL version, OS, and Architecture is chosen for development -- we will first choose configure options which match the default binary distribution of that product.
